Vinyl acrylate rubber is divided into binary rubber and ternary rubber, the binary rubber is composed of ethylene (E)/methyl acrylate (MA), ternary rubber is composed of E/MA/monomer (CS) to provide vulcanization position. Binary rubber can only use peroxide vulcanization, and ternary rubber because it contains the third monomer to provide the vulcanization position, can use amine vulcanization agent, when used for cable with high pressure steam continuous vulcanization, ternary rubber can also use peroxide vulcanization. Vinyl acrylic rubber has excellent high temperature resistance, heat resistance of mineral oil, hydraulic oil, weather resistance and low temperature properties, but not resistant to low aniline oil and polar solvents.
Temperature range: -30℃~150℃, short time up to 175℃
Advantages:
· Good cold resistance
· Excellent ozone resistance
· Good weather resistance
· Good heat-resistant aging performance
· Excellent compression resistance to permanent deformation
· Used for automotive accessories, such as front and rear crankshaft oil seals, front and rear spindle oil seals, power steering pump seals, transmission
Pump seal, pump seal, engine valve stem oil seal, CVJ dust cover and power steering hose
Disadvantages:
· Poor resistance to fuel C, phosphate ester hydraulic fluid, non-mineral brake fluid, ester, ketone and gasoline
Applicable media:
· Mineral oil (engine oil, gear oil, ATF oil)
· Ozone
· Oxidant
Not suitable for media:
· ketone
· Fuel oil
· Brake oil
