Chlorol rubber refers to polyether rubber containing chlorine on the side base. It is a polymer elastomer made by ring opening polymerization of annular ether containing epoxy group, also known as chloro-ether rubber. According to its composition, chlorohydrin rubber can be divided into epichlorohydrin homogeneous chlorohydrin adhesive (CO), epichlorohydrin and ethylene oxide binary copolymer chlorohydrin adhesive (ECO). The molecular chain of chlorol rubber has good flexibility, so its cold resistance is good. And because the molecular chain contains chloromethyl polar groups, so that it has quite good heat resistance, so chlorol rubber is characterized by cold resistance and oil resistance of one of the better rubber.
Temperature range: -40℃ to 125℃
Applicable media:
· Mineral oil
Advantages:
· Good air tightness
· Good heat resistance
· Good ozone resistance
· Suitable for making freon refrigerant seals
· Suitable for sealing parts of rubber hose and oil well production equipment
· Suitable for high pressure piston head parts
· Rubber hose and shock absorbing rings (pads, sheets, plates) for automobiles and aircraft
Disadvantages:
· Poor processing performance
