Fluorine silicone rubber, also known as γ-trifluoropropyl methyl polysiloxane, general molecular chain also introduced 0.2% ~ 0.4% vinyl siloxane copolymerization modification, colorless transparent high viscosity plastic straight chain polymer compounds, the main chain is composed of silicon and oxygen atoms, connected with silicon side group methyl, vinyl and trifluoropropyl, molecular weight between 500 ~ 800 thousand. With a variety of additives, can be mixed into homogeneous rubber, under the action of organic peroxide, vulcanized into a variety of elastic rubber products, in addition to the characteristics of general silicone rubber, and excellent resistance to aviation fuel oil, hydraulic oil, oil, chemical reagents and solvents.
Temperature range: -60℃ ~ 177℃
Advantages:
· Good high temperature resistance
· Good corrosion resistance
· Excellent oil resistance
· Suitable for making aircraft fuel tank sealing material, engine accessories, fuel oil hose, oil pressure system sealing ring
Pump diaphragm
· Suitable for making diaphragm, gasket, pipe fitting, sealing ring and so on with high and low temperature resistance, oil resistance and chemical resistance
Disadvantages:
· Poor heat-resistant air performance
Applicable media:
· Aromatic hydrocarbon mineral oil (IRM 903 oil)
· Fuel oil
· Low molecular weight aromatic hydrocarbons (toluene, xylene)
